Deborah Kreter, a local artist in Fairfield County, CT. founded Low Tide Island Design in 2005.  Deborah has spent years creating and collecting a variety of unique and unusual designs in jewelry, clothing, home furnishings, personal care items and fun and funky gifts.  As far back as 1981, the Chicago Tribune featured Deborah's nationally sold educational children's clothing line.   This innovative line of children's ware was under her Kool Kreations label.

Spirituality is a focused area of interest for Deborah.   She is always looking for ways to incorporate this interest into her line of offerings.  Four years ago while exploring the Long Island Sound Islands, Deborah came across an island that disappears at high tide "Low Tide Island".

After spending time on this island with her family, being there for breathtaking sunrises, beautiful days, and sedating sunsets, the idea for the Gratitude Collection was born.  The perfect combination of natural design and spiritual awareness brought to life in each one of a kind necklace, ring and bracelet.
